LHIB has received notification that Birdon has cancelled upcoming freight voyages.

This notification relates to voyages 168 (arrival 1 February), 169 (arrival 15 February), and possibly 170 (arrival 1 March).

We are currently exploring options to manage the impact and will keep the community informed. 

Our first priority is to resolve delivery of freight associated with essential services required by the Island, including fuel, gas, and food (perishable and non -perishable). 

We appreciate this is a period of uncertainty and understand that some residents and businesses may want to make their own commercial arrangements during this time. 

Another update will be provided when we have further information to assist residents and businesses in planning for upcoming freight deliveries with minimal disruption.
