Draft Flood Study on public exhibition

The Board is updating the Lord Howe Island Flood Study in accordance with the NSW Government Floodplain Management Program. A draft flood study report has been prepared and is now available for public exhibition.
 

The report is available to view at the Board’s main office, or online via the Board’s website:

A question and answer session will be held at the Lord Howe Island Community Hall from 12pm to 1pm on Wednesday 4th August 2021. Board staff and a flood planning specialist will be available to answer questions and discuss the report. Covid-19 precautions, including wearing a mask, will be required for entry to the hall.
 

The exhibition period will close on Friday 27 August. Questions and feedback should be directed to the Lord Howe Island Board by email to [email protected] or in person at the Board’s offices at Bowker Avenue, Lord Howe Island.
