The next Woodhen Survey will take place from Monday 18 November until 8 December between 6:30 – 11:30 and 15:00 – 18:00.

The Environment Team is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable residents to assist with the Woodhen Survey project. Interested individuals and contractors are encouraged to submit an application to [email protected] by Wednesday 6 November at 17:00.

Application requirements include:

• Fit and able to assist the LHIB Environment Team with netting woodhens in the field
• Availability during the dates and times of the survey
• Previous experience with netting woodhens is desirable
• Ability to comply with Board policies
• If applying as a casual employee for the period:
  • Resume and 2 referees
  • Willingness to undergo a suitability assessment
• If applying as a contractor:
  • Current ABN
  • Relevant LHI Business licence - environmental management, wildlife management, or similar work
  • Proof of insurance and public liability to cover environmental management, wildlife management, or similar work
