Skatepark project 

The Skatepark Committee has finalised an updated design concept to accommodate a wide range of skating abilities and reflect advancements in skatepark designs since the initial plans. 

Relevant environmental testing is currently underway, and a planning application submission is expected in time for the August Board Meeting.

Community Hall upgrades 

Acoustic boards have been installed in the Community Hall to enhance sound control and improve auditory experience. This improves the space’s inclusivity and usability for a variety of events like concerts and Board Meetings. 

The acoustic boards absorb sound, reduce noise levels and minimise echo to enhance speech clarity and overall acoustic quality. 

They also enhance accessibility by supporting the existing hearing loop systems, ensuring clear sound transmission to hearing aids equipped with telecoils.
