No detectable levels of brodifacoum residue in June fish samples

Annual post-REP fish sampling was conducted in June 2024 in accordance with APVMA permit conditions. No detectable levels of brodifacoum residue were found in any of the fish samples tested (50 samples from 25 fish).

Following these results, the previous advice to avoid consuming the liver of fish caught near the shore of Lord Howe is revoked.

As there are now no detectable residues, no further fish testing is required.
