The playground has been reopened, after dead and potentially dangerous limbs were removed from the surrounding Norfolk Island Pines. 

A full tree risk assessment is being prepared to ensure the safety of the community and all users of the playground. Any trees deemed to pose a high risk to the safety of users in the area will be removed as a priority. 

We will continue to monitor the condition of trees in public areas.
