The foreshore and boat ramp areas are shared spaces, and the Board is responsible for ensuring that all users are able to utilise the area in a safe, fair, and balanced manner. Access may be limited during commercial stevedore operations.

Vessels and trailers must not be stored at the boat ramp area for longer than 48 hours, and care should be taken not to impact the storage and movement of goods being loaded and offloaded on ship weekends.

Vessels over 6m in length may be stored in the boat ramp area for up to 7 days to undertake repairs and maintenance with prior application and approval from the LHIB. Application forms can be obtained from the LHIB Administration Office 02 6563 2066 or [email protected].
