Resumption of Works on Anderson Road

Following the works carried out at the end of last year, All Island Services has resumed work along Anderson Road, with works scheduled to continue over the coming period.

Road preparation works will continue from the Powerhouse to the Banyan Tree (approximately 50m) beginning at the Power Station end. These works are expected to take approximately 7 working days with only a small number of properties impacted. Affected residents have been notified.

Subsequent road sealing works from the Powerhouse to Middle Beach Road are scheduled to commence on Monday 14 April. Concurrently, vegetation management may start between Middle Beach Road and McGees Parade within the next two weeks. Full works for the section from Middle Beach Road to McGees Parade are expected to commence on or before Monday 21 April.

Every effort will be made to minimise disruptions, ensuring that businesses, residents, and emergency services can access residences during these works. However, some impacts to road users, such as partial road closures and delays, are expected. To ensure the safety of workers and the community, please obey road signs and directions from roadworks staff.

Should you have any enquiries regarding these works, please contact Wesley Holden, Acting Manager Infrastructure and Engineering Services, on (02) 6563 2066 or via email at [email protected].

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete these essential upgrades.
